SUPERCROSS Herning 2009
Hello everyone!!
This past weekend it was SX in Herning, Denmark. I arrived on thursday and did some practice sessions and I felt pretty good for the upcoming nightīs of racing.
My best result I got on friday and I made it to the LCQ, but I did a bad start and didnīt make it to the main. The track was pretty small and the laptimes was just above 20 sek. In the first heat it was four who directly went to the semifinals. I started the heat midpack and could not make that topfour finish. Next heat I did a good firt turn and was out as third on the first lap. I did a small mistake when it was two laps to go and lost the third place to Andreas Hultman, but I manage a forth finish and maked it to the semi. I did a bad start again and couldnīt make the toppfour finish to transfer to the main. In the LCQ I tried to start on the second gear instead of the first but itdidnīt worked out and I think I was the last one throw the firt turn. Anyway I just enjoy the riding and had some fun but after that heat it was over for the day.
On saturdaynight I really wanted to make it to the main but unfortently this day ended even before the semifinals.
At the practicesession it didnīt felt 100% but when the races begun it all felt better. In the first heat I finished outside the topfour but the riding felt good. In the nest heat, where the top4 transfered to the semiīs I did some changes at the start and I was really fast of the gate, but I got puched wide in the first turn and come out fifth on the first lap. It was a really fun heat but I was like 4-5 tenth of a second to make a top forth finish and my day was over and had to stay on the side watching the follow heats.
Im satisfied with my riding and it felt really good to be back on the startingline again, last time was in august 08. It was a really fun weekend and I want to give a special thanks to Palle who helpt me during the weekend, and also my family, trainer Mats Berglund, Henrik Gustavsson and all my sponsors who was their for me!!
